On May 15th., after a trip of 900 km, the tansporter of company Wemhoff (www.wemhoff-transport.de) arrived in Gütersloh. The cargo was our Hawker Hunter T.Mk. 7 XL618 from Newark Air Museum in England. The machine is dismantled and now needs a complete restauration.

A first inventory showed that a lot of work still awaits us until the machine can be exhibited in its original paintwork again.

The same applies to our De Havilland DH 115 Vampire T. Mk 11 XD622, which has been transported from Usworth, Northengland to Wiedenbrück in June this year. This machine is also dismantled and waiting for the transport to the new winter storage where the restauration can begin.
